Cuban Hooker

2oz black rum,
mountain dew,
fresh mint,
cilantro,
maraschino cherries,
lime

Muddle 1 1/2 lime minus a slice for garnishing, 1/8c. of fresh mint, 1/8c. cilantro and 3 maraschino cherries. then add 2oz black rum (i like "the kracken" for this) a splash of maraschino cherry juice shake to combine strain into a salt rimmed rocks glass w/ 1 large ice cube and top with mountain dew garnish with a slice of lime an a cherry and enjoy. (you can substitute another fruity soda if you like i.e. 7up, sprite. but it just won't be the same)
