There are two ways to make this - frozen or up.
Frozen: 1/2 oz brandy, 1/2 oz dark creme de cacao, vanilla ice cream, and crushed ice - in a tall specialty glass.
Up: same as above, minus the ice cream and crushed ice - in a chilled cocktail glass.
